Levi Parsons Morton (May 16, 1824 – May 16, 1920) was the 22nd vice president of the United States from 1889 to 1893. Joseph A. Cody of Kansas served as a private in the Frontier Guard and as U.S. Indian agent at the Upper Platte Agency in Nebraska Territory, May 14, 1861 - Apr. 14, 1862.
